The View Contents area at the bottom of the Messages page displays the contents of the message highlighted in the Messages table. The format of the message body depends on the message type.
Currently, order status messages, bid wanted request status messages, and watched item alerts can be viewed in the Messages page.
The following information is displayed for buy/sell order messages:
Linked order number and color-coded order status. Click the order number to display the Order Detail overlay for the order.
Linked issue description, coupon and maturity date. Click the issue description to display the Bond Offering Detail overlay for the issue.
Price.
Yield.
Order quantity.
Rep code, if enabled.
Go to Orders link. Click the link to display the Orders blotter.
The following information is displayed for bid/offer wanted requests:
Linked request number and color-coded order status. Click the order number to display the Request Detail overlay for the request.
Linked Issue description, coupon and maturity date. Click the issue to display the Bond Offering Detail overlay for the issue.
Best bid price, if available.
Yield, if available
Request quantity.
Rep code, if enabled.
Go to Orders link. Click the link to display the Bid Wanteds blotter.
The following information is displayed for watched item alerts:
Watch criteria and watched item name.
CUSIP (for a watched bond only).
Go to Active Watched Items link. Click the link to display the Active Watched Items dashboard.
Continue watching link (for expired watches only). Click the link to continue watching the item for the next 14 days.
